Grouping & Teaching
FAMILY FRIENDLY ORGANIZING
Grouping
At the beginning of the course, we offer a varied mix of playful exercises, skiing, and tons of fun. As the week progresses, the ski training intensifies. In our adult groups, we focus on individualized coaching. In all our courses, we naturally respect one another and strengthen the sense of community. The course schedules are perfectly organized so that parents who are attending a group course themselves can easily drop off and pick up their children.

Generell
The teaching methodology at Skischool GO! is based on the official Austrian ski instructor curriculum, safely guiding our guests from their very first turns all the way to perfection. We consistently adapt to modern, state-of-the-art teaching methods that rank among the best in the world. Our goal is always to achieve maximum learning success through dynamic interaction and noticeable progress across all phases of teaching and learning.
For us, the greatest success is seeing our clients have pure fun in the snow through a real sense of achievement!
Kids
Our highly trained ski instructors provide empathetic support to help your child master snow sports. You can place your full trust in our team—we take on this responsible task with great joy and patience.
To ensure the ski day starts completely stress-free, we offer flexible solutions: take advantage of our convenient shuttle service, including transport from the bus terminal at Bad Gastein train station (Stubnerkogelbahn), or bring your kids directly to the meeting point on the slopes. Before we start out on the slopes, we always make sure everything is perfectly organized. We begin with playful introductions within the group, and a thorough warm-up is always an essential part of our professional lessons.
Beginners start at the Family Park GO! at an altitude of 1,600 m. On our snow-reliable, school-owned practice area, kids can comfortably learn to brake, snowplough, and make their first controlled turns, thanks to a modern magic carpet conveyor belt and our exclusive rope lift. Fun figures and ramps ensure plenty of variety.
However, we are not limited to the beginner's area! As part of our flexible ski safaris, we choose the best slopes across the entire Bad Gastein ski area, depending on the group's ability, weather, and snow conditions. Later on, the kids enjoy parallel skiing and their first exciting freestyle experiences. As soon as parallel skiing is mastered, our instructors vary the speed, pressure, and rhythm of the turns. As the children grow older and more skilled, they can tackle exciting challenges such as race training, mogul fields, steep faces, off-piste guiding, and freestyle.
SNOWBOARD
Our snowboard lessons adapt to the latest developments in riding style and the individual needs of our guests. Basic technique, slopestyle, and cool freestyle are at the very heart of our courses.
At the beginning, you will get used to sliding and balancing on the board. Then, you will learn safe braking and various turning techniques. As soon as you are ready, your snowboard instructor will show you dynamic carving on the edges or take you freeriding in open terrain. Freestyle is always a big topic on a snowboard—we integrate it into the course as soon as you have gained the necessary confidence.
A highly important and comprehensive part of snowboarding off-piste is alpine safety (avalanche awareness and proper behavior in open terrain), ensuring you stay safe throughout the entire Bad Gastein ski area.
STIL & ÄSTHETIK
Whether on skis or a snowboard, on perfectly groomed slopes or deep in our untouched powder snow: the big keyword in modern winter sports is "style." This exact style and the right riding feel are what we pass on to you in Bad Gastein.
It is the fascinating blend of precise technique, breathtaking alpine scenery, fashion, personality, and lifestyle that creates true style on the slopes. Our instructors, who spend every day professionally out in the snow, are fully committed to these latest trends. We utilize the diverse slopes across the entire ski area to turn our students and freeriders into the heroes of today.
Ultimately, it is the incomparable feeling of freedom that makes snow sports so popular. We guarantee you that anyone, even a total beginner, can experience this feeling right from day one. The entire team at Skischool GO! is looking forward to welcoming you!
