GENERAL
Skischool-go is based on the new Austrian Ski Instructor Teaching Plan which leads our guests from start to perfection. We continuously adjust to a modern and contemporary methodology looking at the Austrians and the best practices in the world, always seeking the optimum learning success through multi-direction guest interaction all teaching and learning phases.
The greatest achievement for us is that our costumers has fun through the feeling of success!
CHILDREN
- Parents trust in our instructors when they give their beloved ones in care for learning snow sports. We are happy to borrow the patience-demanding and not always easy task of teaching children and young people to our instructors.
- Before we start teaching we always organize, introduce and warm-up.
- The beginners are starting in the Family Park GO! in Sportgastein. They learn breaking, plough turning and steering. Later they have fun with parallel skiing and first freestyle experience.
- After learning parallel skiing our instructors will variate the turns in speed, pressure and rhythm. As the children get better and older they will cope with various tasks such as race, moguls, steeps, off-piste and freestyle.
SNOWBOARD
Our snowboard lessons follow the newest developments in techniques and the recent demands of our guests. Basic technique, slopestyle and finally freestyle are the focal points of our Snowboard instructions.
You start getting used to the board sliding and balancing. Then you learn breaking and different ways to turn. When you are really into it, your snowboard instructor will go freeriding with you and you will get a hang of riding on the edges. Freestyle is always a topic on snowboard. We know and implement that as soon as you are ready.
A very important and comprehensive part of snowboarding is off-piste riding and especially hereby alpine safety.
STYLE & ESTHETIC
The esthetic perception is depending on what the current scene represents - regardless of whether on skis or snowboard, on the slope or somewhere in our vast expanse of unspoiled nature, the buzz word is “style”. The style that you find in Bad Gastein and Sportgastein. Adults have idols from the downhill skiers who race down the most difficult downhill slopes in the world at breath-taking speed. some of the seniors even know the well-known silver jug races, which were held in Bad Gastein 18 times, but also to the Ski World Championships, which took place in 1958 that owes Graukogel its good name. The nostalgic scenery of Graukogel would be perfect for the idols of the new genarations who are the heroes from you tube - new schoolers and freeriders. the heroes of today. It is the blend of, technology, breath taking scenery, music, fashion, personalities and lifestyle that create style – even our instructors who professionally deal with snow sport every day are incumbent upon those trends. At the end, it is the right feeling that makes snow sports so popular and we declare, that everybody, also the complete beginner can have that feeling. That is what our instructors are looking forward to transfer.
